Subject: What does this message mean?

Can someone tell me exactly what the following message means? "Some information stored in this library entry does not pertain to figures of this type." It pops up when applying a facial expression to a Michael based figure. What types of information can cause this message? Beth

I get this message once in a while, too. It means that one or more morphs used to make the face file are not in the Cr2 that you are applying the face to.

Hi again Beth, I got this once when I had misspelled one of those sneaky internal morph names, went away when I fixed it.

So, if the morph name is spelled wrong in the facial expression file, or if the morph was removed from the figure file, would you get this message? Would you get the message if the figure simply had more morphs than when the facial expression was created? Thanks, Beth

The message means the face pose has information for morphs which are not in the figure to which you are applying the pose. You won't get it from the figure having morphs not in the pose. It only happens when Poser has instructions to adjust a dial that it can't find on the target figure. At least that's my understanding of it.

OK, I think I got it now. Thanks for the help everyone. Beth

Or, for example, my Sea Beast only has an Index Finger and a Pinky. It gives me that when I try to apply a hand pose, but works for the two fingers and thumb.
