Mike says: "I could use a hand here" SMV, nattly wearing the latest fashion for gunners replies: "Quit bitching, 3 degrees left, I said" This (the gun that is!) is my Christmas present to you all, it is linked off the Front Page, with the other Renderosity merchants. It is a 12-Pounder Field gun, model 1857, commonly known as "The Napoleon". Enjoy! Oh, it is a Poser conforming figure, in case you were wondering. Mike and SMV and batteries not included!

Actually... I'd love to see what they're aiming at... I'm sure that would be a very interest target! LOL Rena

Hi Rena!- I've got this intresting idea for a render, which is partly why I made the gun, but I'll need a Poser Godzilla model for it too, and the only one available isn't right now, oh well! And I forgot to add, Merry Christmas, all!

Mike's gonna be cripled if he doesn't use his legs. Hehehe. :) Thanks!

Along with a lot of nice stuff from the other merchants, I might add! I should also add that I took the liberty of putting my catalog in the Zip, you don't have to open it if you don't want, but it is in the inclosed "documents.zip", along with an intresting Civil War document related to the gun. Details are in the read-me. Incidently, when I was in the army many years ago, you could get in big trouble calling you rifle a "gun", this, however, is officially and correctly called a gun!

Yup, I used to live next to a barrack town, regiment was the Royal Artillery and they were called gunners, but we used to call them long range snipers. Mind you my ex was a rifleman, so it was a bit of regimental pride there.

Really neat model Jim, thanks. This "gun" is for fun too!

Batteries not included? Pity. San Francisco area is ringed with batteries, and Fort Point (right under Golden Gate Bridge) is a civil war era fort, with guns and cannon balls all stacked waiting for a target. Carolly

Ha!- When I wrote that I wasn't even thinking of that kind of battery, good one!
