Working on a new Victoria texture. I'm calling this one Arial. All opinions appreciated.

Thanks,
Spectre

oh, spectre....i like this!!!! the eye makeup rocks!!! great job on the lips, too...maybe just a little less white accent on the bottom lip, but that's just personal preference....very nicely done!!! tam ;o)

spectre3 ( ) posted Tue, 25 December 2001 at 12:45 AM

Thanks Tam. The lips are a bit white aren't they? I'll see what I can do. Spectre

Oooh... the silver make up is excellent One thing that does bug me, and this is on a lot of photorealistic textures, is that line at the top of the lip where the lips meet the rest of the face it seems to white to me... shrug but maybe it's just me.

LittleMouseOnaHonda ( ) posted Tue, 25 December 2001 at 1:56 AM

The eye makeup a bumpmap doing that powdery effect?

ronknights ( ) posted Tue, 25 December 2001 at 3:36 AM

You did say it's a WIP?! Maybe that's why the eyes are half-done?! Personally I don't care for painted eyelids, but many women seem to think it's necessary.

Puntomaus ( ) posted Tue, 25 December 2001 at 3:40 AM

It looks great. I like the silvery make-up and I don't think that the lips are a bit too white. It looks like a silvery shade. Very cool!

I adore the silver makeup, and like Puntomaus I don't find the lips to be too white, it looks like frosty lipstick, and especially since it is more apparent on the bottom lip center it is realistic (to me) to how you make your lippy more shiny. Beautiful eye makeup, it looks like silver leaf!

Oh my, I really like her and yes the make up job is great. Sharen

jaydiva ( ) posted Tue, 25 December 2001 at 5:31 AM

WOW, the silvery eye make-uo is great!! I like the silver on the lips too, maybe a little more on the upper lip ... my humble opinion : )

Aureeanna ( ) posted Tue, 25 December 2001 at 6:26 AM

The silver eyeshadow on the brow looks great ...on the eyelid looks ok (maybe a little too bright) but on the bottom lid is too much unless she's a hooker...LOL...the lips have too much white on them...the eyeballs are not realistic looking...the pupil fades into the rest.....there's too much noise on the skin...MHO

spectre3 ( ) posted Tue, 25 December 2001 at 8:12 AM

Thanks everybody. Overall, it seems favorable. I'll make a few changes based on your inputs and see what I come up with. Thanks again ! Spectre

movida ( ) posted Tue, 25 December 2001 at 8:35 AM

The only criticism I have is that the pupils do fade into the rest of the eye as Aureeanna said, also the silver shadow on the bottom lid is splotched (look diagonally down toward her nose from her lacrimal and there's a tiny spot where the shadow "bleeds" away from the boundary line set by the rest of the shadow) Do you see what I mean? I think it's excellent, I love the shadow (top and bottom) and the lips also. Merry Christmas

I think it would make a great fantasy character or a Las Vegas showgirl. The silver eye shadow would accent a silvery set of fairy wings. Very good work! Melanie

Hi,

Thanks for all of the inputs. Here's a re-worked version. The original is on top with a new brown eye and blue eye version on bottom. Are the lips better? Are the brown eyes better? What do you think of the blue eyes?

Thanks,

Spectre

YUP, that's really great!! I prefer the brown eyes, they make a good contrast... and I also liked the "frosted" lips

rasputina ( ) posted Tue, 25 December 2001 at 2:53 PM

the brown eyes are wonderful, I like the makeup on the bottom, it is very Vegas glam. Pretty all around. I'd purchase her in a heartbeat! g

Xena ( ) posted Tue, 25 December 2001 at 3:57 PM

You've done a fantastic job! The makeup looks extremely realistic. I agree with rasputina waves, it's very Vegas glam :) The frosted lips are excellent. As are the non-frosted ones. Why don't you include both versions?

Xena ( ) posted Tue, 25 December 2001 at 3:59 PM

Oh silly me... I prefer the brown eyes. The blue ones seem to blend into the eyeshadow too much.

movida ( ) posted Tue, 25 December 2001 at 5:42 PM

I like the frosted lips, hope you include them. As for the eyes, I like both of them, I think the blue would be killer in a distance shot (you'd sure notice her)

Pookas_Crayon ( ) posted Tue, 25 December 2001 at 6:10 PM

Yeah, the frosted lips really help round it out. You might even want to go for a faint silvery pink on the cheeks, or a few bindis and stones to bring her In.

rasputina ( ) posted Wed, 26 December 2001 at 9:29 AM

Hi Xena waves it is wicked nice, personally the silver lips are showstopping. Pookas Crayon has a fabulous suggestion imho bindis or silvery pink for the cheeks. Wow.
