Hi people newbie here,I've had bryce5 for a couple of hours now and i hate having to read the instructions on the computer,where can i get some books on this program.I got this program from a friend hence the reason i dont have the manual.Any reply would be apprecited.

Hi! Another fellow newbie here as well. A book I bought off of Amazon.com that was recommended to me, has really helped me out. It's called "Real World Bryce 4", by Susan Kitchens and Victor Gavenda. I also have B5, but you can still learn a lot from this book and it explains things really well. You can also read the reviews that real people who bought the book wrote over at Amazon's site. I have found it much more useful than the manual that came with my B5. Hope this helps and good luck!

Thanks alot buddy I really appreciate it,Looking at all the beatiful work people do with this program really gets me motivated to become a badass.I'll look it up at Amazon.People are still welcome to recommend other places to buy and other books.Maybe even tyhe cheapest place to find it?

Ack. Stephen is right - and I should have mentioned the tutorials as well! I am still working my way through the ones he mentioned but they are easy to follow and a great way to learn!

Also, forgot to mention that the "Real World Bryce 4" book, which normally sells for around $60, Amazon sells for around $38 + s&h.

But the tuts are free, so take advantage of them & have fun! :-)

Anyone ever think of buying Bryce so that you get the manual and a license? That's a great place to start.

Nope,I dont have 300 to waste.I rather pay 0 over 300 anyday of the week,you'd do the same if you had the opportunity that I did.:P

Eric, I did buy Bryce 5. But I didn't find the manual that helpful, at least for this newbie. The book I mentioned above was recommended to me by one of our friendly moderators here, Clay, and has really made a difference - at least for me. :-)
