When you try to load a JPG file into bump map section, of the surface materials dialog window, Poser will create a BUM file for you.

geralday is right; .jpg to .bum conversion is built into Poser, and it'll automatically convert any .jpg you try to use as a bump map. That's assuming that you're only using Poser 4, of course. If you have Poser with the Pro Pack installed, it will not convert the .jpg into .bum format anymore.

Also, if you save your bump map out of photoshop or whatever as a .bmp file you just rename the extension to .bum. This also lets you get around some of the tom foolery that Poser may do to the file when it tries to simulate bump mapping. Sometimes Poser actually does what you want it to do to the simulated bump map so by all means let it convert it and compare the difference.

WELL I HAVE PROPACK INSTALLED,IS THERE ANY SOFTWARE THAT DO THAT OR CAN I JUST LOAD THE JPG?? COZ IT'S THE ASIA TEXTURE I'VE GOT AND IT SAYS THAT YOU HAVE CO CONVERT SOME JPG TO BUMP

You can just load the .jpg. Pro Pack will use it without having to convert.
