Hi everyone! Finder: pic taken with a simple Agfa CL34 1.3 megapix camera, which just goes to show you what you can do with a low-res digital (just don't blow up you're images too much!). This camera does have a basic macro setting, and for once, focusing with the LCD gave me a sharp final image. Initially a 1024 by 768, 187.5 kb file, I crunched & shrunk it a bit so it didn't take to long to load. Thanks for your interest (and for taking the time to separate & squash my pumpkin!!). Some of the photos I take are with a Ricoh SLR (usually with 50mm lens), some with the digital. Film and processing can be quite expensive, but taking shots with the digital costs me nothing, unless I decide to print. Since participating in the forum, I have been inspired to take up my SLR more often, but eventually I want to get a bigger & better digital to explore the boundaries of this new and interesting development photography has taken. Given that I love macro, does anyone have any suggestions.... :-)>
You bored with christmas already? I think Alpha is right you're way ahead of us & early, what's the time difference in Australia... Great pic. I love this close up texture stuff.

Know just where you're coming from with the 1.3 meg thing, Punksie....My Fuji was that and it gave very nice results if, as you say, you didn't blow the image up. Gorra agree with Niko tho' that's one UGLY pumpkin!! Even a Fairy Godmother could only turn it into a !!! Cheers for the v. early greetings........ (",)
