and submitted a picture to the "New beginnings" Contest. I had planned to make a picture with "mixed" medias, - but since I couldn't get hold of my "source of the idea", - my photography, - I kinda "gave up". Then I remembered what Alpha and Syyd said when they announced the contest, - that we should let Photography show. And there aren't many of those in the submitted images. I started to work with 5 of my photographies this morning. After editing, - I decided that 2 were in the "finals", - and let John choose which one to submit. (I had originally planned for you guys to choose, - but then I would have to have publisized it before I entered it to the contest ;). The link is to the one that didn't win our domestic contest. It's taken outside Phoenix, - and I thought a flowering cactus might be a good symbol for a "new beginning". Anyhow, - it was voted off the island, and ended up in the gallery. *he he* The "winner" hasn't shown up in the contest yet, - so it might still show up in the gallery. *lol* But it's taken in the Louvre also, - and is of the new Pyramide extension to the old Louvre. I thought that's a very nice "new beginning". But trust me, - it doesn't stand a chance against Alphas. That is GREAT. But at least we show some photography ;) Britt
