Hi Gang, I got my shipment of Carrara today. I'm going to install this evening and try to get some images posted up over the next day or so. I know a bunch of you have also ordered Carrara. Post up some new renders from Carrara when you get a chance. I know everyone is looking forward to seeing some. I might also do some screen captures of the various screen for people to see, If anyone is interested. Anyway - Lets present some of the power that Carrara is suppose to have. Cool, cool, cool!! I wanna see, I wanna see. Please let us know what type of props and goodies come with Carrara, too. Show us the works. Thanks, Clint.

Well, I breezed through the documentation and it looks pretty much like RDS with a new UI (User Interface). Modelers look the same. Shader Editor appears to be the same. etc... Just a differant UI. Looks like Bryce.. :) I was really hoping the Shader Editor would be more robust in this version. Oh well. Guess I'll load her up and let the games begin. OH - One thing that I like right off the bat is the ability to have 4 windows open. A perspective, Front, Top and side views. I grew use to this type of window arangement in 3DS Max. Very happy to see it in Carrara. I'll post some stuff over the next few days. Clint

My hearts pounding I'm sweating yikes did you pre order cause if you did mine should be here tommorow I preordered 2nd day UPS. Wow Clint the first kid on the block to get the new toy LOL Post away can't wait till mine gets here whoopee!! Blues-

Glad to hear that it's real. You can have several multiple views and windows open at the same time in previous versions of RDS, go to windows: new perspective.

Willf, Yep, I do that in RDS for sure. Its just much easier in Carrara. Clint

Yeah Washington State. It's cool my Truspace 3 for 95 bucks should be here by friday.I'm having so much fun with all my goodies software is abundent,man those images you posted were pretty cool I like the warrior the best. I wonder if that was modeled in Carrara.It's good for me to postpone immediate gratification any way HeHe. Blues-
