I'm tring to constrain the origin point of my object to move in X,Y, or Z. How do I do this? I'm familar with cartisan cordinates through world space, but I want to change the object origin so it will snap to other object where I think there going to. If that makes any sence. Thank you.

All of the translate tools let you constrain movement and scaling to 1 axes, but I'm guessing you already know that. To relocate the origin point ( AKA pivot point ) go to objects Attributes and enable the Show Origin Handle on the General Tab. The origin Point will be displayed ( when you close Attributes ) as a green dot. Then just grab it and move it to a new location. I'm not familiar with Cartesian Coordinate System or Rectangular Coordinate System ( I'm not big in the math department especially Geometry ) but if you can describe more in-depth what you want to do, maybe I can help
