Subject: Help - Lights won't go away

datastorm ( ) posted Tue, 01 January 2002 at 8:19 AM · edited Fri, 27 December 2024 at 1:30 AM

I set up a scene like this: object in the middle of scene then I put a light in front of the object then I set the camera in front of the light and object. When I render the scene I can also see the light object which look like a little puff of cotton. I only want to see the lighting effect not the light object itself. Any suggestions? Thanks

Yes, raise your light up higher than the camera, you see it is in front of the camera lens. Sharen

Hi, Disable lensflare from within the Lensflare button in the Aspect Tab. Hope that helps :)

Yes datastorm...what Sharen said. You can see the light because the light is in the line of site of the camera. If you move it up (or behind the camera) you won't see that :o). Laurie

Thanks for the help. Both suggestions worked well!
