Subject: A New Year and a Clean Slate...the good..the bad .. and the ugly!

The New Year has arrived and I can only hope it's better than last year or more precisely yesterday! The Good: My slow but tolerable computer is working better than ever! The Bad: It's working so well because it went down for the count and I luckily was able to have a pro repairman get it up and running yesterday afternoon. The Ugly: I did have 95% of what I've downloaded over the last few months, and my Vue and Poser Files backed up. I did however loose all of my email address book, 2 Poser and a Couple of Vue projects are gone, and all My Favorites are history as well. So, If anyone would like to post what they feel are the "Must Have" Poser, Vue, and Bryce links, I'll be glad to add them back to My Favorites again. Have a great year everyone!

Ohh Andy, what a hard way to get the new year started...but that the 'puter's working good now is kind of a nice thing at least. Hope you thanked the repair guy profusely! lol Here's a great Vue link to get you started back right. This is for the Vue d'Esprit WebRing run by karlm. Lots of very cool Vue sites. :)

Thanks to everybody that's chimed in so far. I'm sure I'll get most of my favorite sites back in time. I was just about to store them in a text file for reference in case a crash did occur. I guess I've learned my lesson on this one the hard way (like normal). If anyone would like to suggest any other "cant live without" or even "cool but not many people know about it" sites, I'm sure other Vue forum visitors would be as thrilled as I will.
