Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 24 8:11 pm)
Never heard of such a program, but if someone has, please tell. I always unzip the free stuff in a separate folder to see how the directories are structured. I then open a new Explorer window with the Poser directories visible and drag and drop the differnt folders between the windows until everything is in their proper places. Doesn't take much time and it allows me to control where things end up in the Poser directories.
I use Powerdesk Utilities. It has a zip utility that is integrated into the File Manager Program. I have a routine where I create folders for all the stuff I download. I have a separate folder for each downloaded item. I unzip those zipped files into the folders. Sometimes I have an "undone" folder within the original folder. I open up a second Powerdesk screen, and drag and drop where I want the stuff to go. Sometimes I just right-click and choose the copy command. Windows doesn't have really good copy and move commands. That's why I like Powerdesk Utilities for my file manager. The only way I've found to really change the file structure is to create it yourself, then drag and drop stuff where you want it.
