Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 07 7:37 am)
Glad to hear you're feeling better. Seems to me the thing folk have the most trouble with are gripping and holding. Getting a simple grip on a sword handle is hard enough to get right, let alone more complex carrying and holding positions. Maybe you could apply your legendary skills to some carrying and holding poses where there is a real sense of weight or mass - pretty tricky, but if anyone can do it....
I neglect hands a lot. Or to be more accurate, I avoid pictures which would utilize the hands for anything such as holding or gripping. Schlabber, you have some exellent pose libraries for characters with swords, weapons, etc. I just can't get past the difficulty of putting something in their hands and making it look good. I almost never use the hands pose library, but I really should. By the way, my friend, I hope you're feeling better every day.
BBay's pose collection did a couple of Vickie Hand pose sets, I really value them, even when you use a canned pose you often need to change the hands, plus they are a lot of work to do anyway - all them little joints. So I'd love to see more, Vickie ones especially, I don't use the Posette at all these days.
Bunches! And not just for grabbing and holding, which admittedly are sorely needed, but expressive hands too. Exaltation, surprise, joy, anxiety, worry, anger, pain, name your emotion. I think hands run a pretty close second to faces for emotive expression, even more important in long shots. Granted there are some of these around, but I think good theatric hands would always be welcome, Especially for Vicky and Mike.

Hi there, now it seems I got my health finally back (damned flu) I'm able to switch my PC on for longer than 2 hours a day :o). A lot of hand-poses for Vicky (and interesting - they also fit for Mike :o) are ready and I think I can make them ready like the ones I did for Posette (maybe some more). So the (maybe stupid) question: Soes anyone really need them ?? and if - any special hand-poses-wishes ??
