Hello, forum people!!! :-) I haven't been around in a while, and although it's rather late, I hope everyone had a good time during the holidays. The past two and a half weeks were fun and at the same time dreadful. Got myself a cheap film scanner to tide me over for the meantime --HOORAY-- (so I can have restful sleep every night LOL), but during installation it has royally phuckd up my system (which explains my prolonged absence). Plus I've been down with colds and allergies (rhinitis and coughing and disgusting stuff that comes with em) a little while before the new year, and the pyrotechnics and the pollution that went with the fireworks aggravated my condition. I'm currently going crazy over LOTR and merchandise. I've been buying action figures and stuff I don't really need LOL. My friend gave me a really nice Galadriel pewter pendant for Christmas and I wear it all the time :-) The pencil study above doesn't really belong to this particular forum, but I might as well post it here while I'm still scanning stuff to post. Inspired by LOTR, respiratory problems, depression from 2 damaged rools of film, and solitude. I wish everyone the best this year, and I wish myself better health, my birthday's up soon!!! (on the 9th-- you guys still have time to buy me presents LOL) :-) (*

Congrats on the new scanner!!! Thanks for the candle picture AND don't forget to get yourself the Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon action figure! Assuming they have Burger kings over there you can get a light up mug when you buy a kids meal for $1.99! BTW I love your drawing but how is it related to LOTR or the holiday season? Bsteph

Happy New Year Star! I hope you are feeling better soon! (Garlic & Echinacea work well for me in those circumstances) Nice drawing BTW, it could have gone into the 2d Gallery December theme!

Maygen - thanks for the well wishes. :-) BSteph - Thanks! Burger King is currently selling LOTR mini-action figures ;-) How is my drawing related to LOTR or the holiday season? IT ISN'T. Hahahaha... spur of the moment thing :-) PunkClown - Garlic and what??? LOL I'm not really a garlic person. Mom says I'm a vampire... asleep in the mornings and I hate halitosis LOL. Maybe I should visit the 2d thingy... too lazy hehe... Thanks :-) Alpha - take the forum with you to Middle Earth, we'll teach dem elves a thing or two about puters and cameras ;-) Then maybe I can get a cute half-elven boyfriend or something and live in Imladris LOL... Oh, and thank you for the kind words. I bought a REALLY CHEAP scanner, so don't bother asking what kind I got LOL... I'm in good spirits, it just turned Jan 9 here, happy birthday to me!!! And next month I'm going to get my new CAT!!! (Born Dec.12, still breastfeeding so I'm waiting) Wheee.... (*

Happy new to you, too! Very nice drawing! :) I haven't seen LOTR yet but hope I get to it before it stops playing.
