A warm summer day. In the gulf waters, there was some very fine seaweed in the water. As the tide slowly receded, each wave didnt make it quite as far as the previous wave, and the seaweed left a line at furthest point of each wave. The area of the picture is about 4 feet wide. Congratulations PunkClown! PS: Alpha - No, Im not attempting to take over the contest area! But this could be a fun thing for us to do by taking turns!
So do I win a prize? :-)> I guess because I have spent so many wonderful times of my life at the beach, admiring the amazing patterns that combination of water, sand and indeed seaweed can make just like in Marshall's image, that triggered some subconscious association...(and the fact that I'm bloody brilliant!) LOL folks! thanks Marshall!

Just curious to see if anyone can guess what this image is. The ONLY alteration here is with the color, the image itself remains unchanged. This is a totally natural subject; Mother Nature's artwork. To me it looked like some Asian art of a mountain range, and I added the color to enhance that feeling, but a desaturation will remove all my fingerprints. Any ideas?
