Has anyone had a problem installing bryce 5 on an machine with windows XP installed?

No problem except that to go from Bryce 5 to another applications, you have to minimize it or press the microsoft key on the keyboard. (between the left crtl and alt, sorry if you know but it's a habit from my job). if you have any questions, tell me. Pleiades PS:I am using Windows XP Pro with all the updates applied.

No problems whatsoever. But Pleiades is correct if you are working with Bryce and try to click another application in the taskbar you will have to use the minimize button and minimize Bryce then select the other app or window. There is a setting in XP that allots resources for programs or background services which can be changed. I have not changed it however now that I know how to work around it.

Bryce is not the only program that this happens with in WinXP. I've had it happen with several other programs, including trueSpace, Paint Shop Pro, and Painter 6.

the minimization thing you are talking about happened to me with Bryce5 in windows2000 as well. So, I am betting that it is not an XP thing.
