Are there any opinions of this Dapple Grey texture I've been working on?

The midsection white is a little too defined, Im afraid. Otherwise, it looks really good. Is there a bump map to go with it to suggest the mat of the hair?

I like it. Some more dappled fading along the edges of the white stomach, if the stomach is meant to be that white. I think that would look more natural. Stomach region jumps out at me as is.

I think it looks great! It does need a bump map though! I really like the soft blend on the nose.

I'm going to soften the dappling. And the hooves are going to be color-corrected. Thanks to Sorrow, who noted to me that Dapple greys have a sort of faintly bluish tint to them.

Err, not the dappling, the fade to the stomach.

it needs a bump map, the mid section is all white...why is that? The dappling itself needs some attention in my oppinion. It looks too much like a water color with too much water but that may be fixed with the addition of a bump map. it will be a nice addition to horse textures once it's just right though! :)
