Subject: Looking for sources for background music

Are there sources for props and models and textures around. But are there sources for music to use in animations? Good ones for background music that can be used for various events and action on the screen?

Thanks

Do a search on "PoserTRAX" in Free Stuff. And here's a link to the creator's website, where you can find more free samples, along with the product catalog: PoserTRAX

Hey, thanks Little Dragon! I owe ya one! Mike, right now's a good time to hit the PoserTRAX site too - not only are the free samples updated, but all CD's are $7 thru the end of the year. I'm also working on an archive of the old freebies as well, bringing the total free downloads close to 50MB. Keep Rockin'! --silver

If you want like sound effects, there are scads of free ones on the web. Do a good Google search to find them.

Best free source- midi. get a decent midi sound card. Then ask the creators permission to use- they are usually very generous. Then, you can additionally change the instruments to suit your taste, the music plays with the new instrument can sound vastly improved. I bit the bullet & payed for music library called Backtraxx. 1000 license free songs for $400. I have also bought those 2000 sound FX & 2000 music/midi cd's at best buy for $10. They are pretty good actually. Produced by a company called Media Graphics.
