Love the tuts, but 404's drive me nuts. I assume they are the responsibility of the creator and everyone moves on eventually but some have been unavailible for months. Would love to see someplace that archives the better ones too. jbear

Hi jbear, the tutorials database here is really just a list of links to tutes on the web somewhere. And yeah, people move their website or rearrange their pages, and bam, you end up with a 404 from an old bookmark. It seems to me I recall Russell posting something about a plan in the works for removing the dead tutorial links, but I don't remember any details about when we might see that take effect. In the meanwhile, whenever you run into a dead link, let a moderator or admin know which one it is (and which tutorial section), and with the help of folks like yourself, maybe we can weed out the worst of 'em manually. :)

Yeah, the auto-pruning plan ran into a few bumps and got put on hold for now. Just let a mod or admin know and we'll contact the author and check into it. Thanks. Russell
