Yes...I like to thanks these people for nominating me in the AOM, namely - Scared Rose, Gebe, Freva and Travdivoro. Sorry, I'm a little late on this because I knew only of S Rose doing so when I read Varian post about the "new Spin" on this AOM thiningy at that time. However, I did told S Rose privately that there is no images in my gallery and this happened before the new approach for AOM came about. It really does not matter if I'm selected or not but this is already way cool for me :) Yes, we all know the image speak for itself and the artist that does it and it too reflect on the people that accept and comment on it. Thanks again, people :) Anyway, soon to be, I will have my own .com where all or mostly my work, past and present would be on display. Bill TesignArts

Yeah Bill, your work is terrific, it inspires us all to do better and let's face it, you're just one of those "artist of the month" type of guys... :)

tradivoro ( ) posted Thu, 10 January 2002 at 10:49 PM

Actually, here's a funny story... My brother recently found they had galleries here, so he came to check out the pictures... He checked out various galleries... Anyway, he wrote me back and he says "Who's Tesign?? That guy's great"... :) He's a photoshop guy... He sees better than me... :)

Cool story, Paul! Hey Bill, this is twice in the same month I didn't vote for you - lol! But I know you're a winner regardless, and I do wish you the best of luck everywhere. :)

Tradivoro - Ha x3!...Thanks and thanks to your brother too :) Tell him errr...that I'm a Corel Photo Paint 'hard-core' :)...well, mainly. I use PhotoShop or Painter only when one program can't do what I wanted. I use filters effectively a lot and you know...most of them works on with PhotoShop. Whatever, they are all wonderful program...so is JASC PSP, PaintBrush, ZBrush etc... Varian - LOL!...I know...does not mean when you don't vote for me. my work isn't any better ;-) Beck - Thanks but I like to take a break for this month at least. Sooner or later, we all gonna be AOM :) Bill

Congratulations Bill...your work is a huge inspiration to all of us. Your work has inspired me many times, when suffering from my bouts of Artists Block :) Good luck to all those nominated. Martin

FWIW, far as I'm concerned, you could be the AOY!! "Y" = year. My Vue hero! Larry F

Role model even. Charles Barkley notwithstanding.

tesign ( ) posted Fri, 11 January 2002 at 8:45 AM

Larry F -LOL!..."AOY",Larry...I think you are too much!...but thanks for such kind words. Sorry to sound so naive, but who is "Charles Barkley"? Mike - Thanks :) Martin - Thanks for your comment. "..my bouts of Artists Block"....well I have this too at times. Actually, most of my work are in bits and pieces till the moment hits right when I get back to it....LOL! Wizzard - Thanks and yes, share what each of us can do best with Vue and we all here be number #A1 :) Its a pity that I can't model though...I did try but its hard on me and most of this 'model' is really not up to par. I can only share my art work and concentrate on being as creative as possible. Thanks again, all.

Chearles Barkley? The basketball player? Well, I was going to ask that this morning, but then I thought, what if there's some famous artist with the same name I don't know about.... But then Bill doesn't know either, so he can absorb some of the laughs too. :) Unlees y'all are just baiting me here.... ;)

"Sir" Charles Barkley, also known as The Round Mound of Basketball, was indeed a pro basketball player, one of the 50 greatest in fact, renowned for his outspoken remarks on a range of issues. Several years ago he made a shoe commercial in which he chastised parents by saying that he, as a pro athlete, was not a role model for their children and that the parents themselves should be the role models. Makes perfect sense, but turned into controversy, especially as he has been known to perform other outrageous acts, from throwing people through plateglass windows, critizing, even harking a big one at game officials, etc. Now retired from the game, as a commentator, possible future governor of Alabama. Hey don't laugh: Remember these words: Jesse Ventura (former pro wrestler, now governor of Minnesota). You could take this frivolity all the way back to Ronald Reagan. ("President? He's an ACTOR, for crissakes!!") Anyway, Bill, you're a role model but it's not fattening or harmful in anyway. :) Larry F
