Subject: Rendering freeze

I am trying to render a 10 sec, 740x480 animation. I am working on Mac G4 with 768MB of RAM. My computer freezes or crashes every single time and I get error type 2,3 or 10 messages. The scene is one mountain, and a rippling body of water. The render has never made it past frame 8. I have tried different memory allocations, tried OS All and OS Base extension settings, disabled a couple extensions the Bryce tech-support suggested, reloaded the software, updated to 5.01 and nothing seems to solve this. Huge Thanks to anyone that can stop this frustration.

disable clock. set virtual memory to double actual ram. try at a smaller size setting first. no added lights or reflections, no "soft" lighting. good luck.
