Subject: Runaway Renders

I saw where someone else here was having this problem a week or so ago: Poser hung during a render. In a panic, I did the Ctrl-S thing. It apparently saved the PZ3, but now every time I open it, it opens with the render in progress and will merrily continue to render over and over, ad nauseum. If you stop the render, it stops... until you do something like click on the main window, then the rendering proceeds again. Behavior is perfectly normal with any other PZ3. I've already tried the trick of clearing the Poser temp files and restarting everything... no diff. Soooo...is there any known way to rescue the PZ3 or failing that, a way to rescue the setup (props, sets etc.) by themselves. It's certainly not going to kill me to rebuild this particular scene (who even notices a couple of hours when playing with poser), but I can see this bug leading someone to considerable grief (save often and under other file names - before you hit that render key!). Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Thats weird!!!!!! I had the same exact problem happen to me last night for the first time. The funny thing is that it intially froze up and wouldn't render the scene at all so I Control-S saved the PZ3. Now every time I open the file it renders over and over again. I got the other symptoms too--after it stops rendering, the first click on anything else sends it off on another rendering spree. I was able to import the PZ3 into Vue4 and render it there so the file is still intact.
