My friend asked me to do few posters, cd-covers and stuff for their band, Machine Park. Photo is not taken by me, just fooled around and tried to get inspired. .n

one day or other you "should" tell me how u do those amazing textures in your artworks ... Dunno what sort of music they play, but this is outstanding. (one of your last bryce work is my wallpaper lately ..) Another amazing one. Thank you. A.

Thanks A. Those techniques are just paint. And dirt. Dodge and burn. Fool with different layer settings. They play, err, I'm really bad with these gategory things, but industrial rock, electronic music with computers, syntethizers, drum machines and stuff. I'm glad you liked my bryce works, I liko those personally too. .n

Your "fooling around" always amazes me Niko, you're an inspired artist...and I'm loving your Bryce renders too! I can think of quite a few of your own original works that you've posted lately that would suit "industrial rock - electronic - synthesised stuff"! Hell, if it had your artwork on the cover, I'd buy it!!! (God I miss Vinyl LP's for that same reason...CD cover art is sooo tiny!) ROCK ON! ;-)>

...I miss vinyls too. Lay down on couch, listen new record, amaze cover art and read lyrics. ...and when I'll finnish those covers'n stuff, I'll post here. When shoot, I shoot from the hip When I rock, I rock with full clip. .n

That's you again, i presume? :-) I hate it when you fool around... LOL

Antoonio ( ) posted Tue, 15 January 2002 at 8:15 AM

...Stars, nope, thats not me, and I did not even take the pic. Gosh photography is easy nowdays. g And I'm not really satisfied with the pic. Background does not work. Hmmm, old castle or something like that could be nice. .n

Syyd ( ) posted Tue, 15 January 2002 at 10:19 AM

whats beautiful about it? Well its scratchiness, the sort of gothic look to it, i.e. fence, character, dress, and then you have what appears to be a high speed train in the background! Good symbolism, Machine Park, gothic some how into high speed. Industrial, old age...just my .o2

uhmm ... a tought if you like ... U said castle ...I have some castles ...but ..they wouldn't work much in there ... ... dunno but ... this one maybe can work ? http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=119675&Start=1&Artist=scenterotic&ByArtist=Yes (that one is just "fooled around" by me ... original is B/W and overexposed a lot ..) just an idea ... but feel free to say "no thanks" eh eh have a good work. A.

Oh, I like this, soft and hard all at once - sort of a mysterious feel to it, even though there's nothing of mystery in it!
