Please don't shoot me. I liked it, so I posted it. So there. Nyah. Hair - JeffH Standard Poser 4 Nude Female. Imported and rendered in VUE 3. Only took a couple of hours to render. I was pleased with the end result. Kate

Well, I like it too S. My question is this--(oh, shoot, bet you don't have Bryce)--how different is using Vue for Poser than Bryce? When you import, do you import as .obj with all textures? Or--do you have to retexture, etc.?? Inquiring minds want to know LOL. Oh, okay--can you work with Yamato's transparency maps/Kyoko hair in Vue? Bet I'll think of more questions after I post this too--:-( Diane B

aaahhhh I'm there now.... Beautiful Kate!... The colors are awesome.. The picture takes me there.. I like the woman's expression .. Kinda makes me wonder what she's thinking.. The water and sky are picture perfect... I think it would of looked more awesome rendered larger but I guess it would of taken days then and every artist has their preference too... I don't know much about VUE 3 but it appears to render with more vibrant colors than Byrce.. Am I right?... Anyway, It's really beautiful.. ~Cindy

Shoot you? You gotta be kidding. It's absolutely beautiful and it captures a very elusive moment just right.

Well, ok, Diane, I don't have Bryce so I can't make a comparison. I still have trouble with getting the export settings right on the Poser figure (that's why I haven't done a long shot with her yet) but I'll figure that out with a little experimentation. MartialF, I still haven't quite figured out how to bring in the texture map right, so I had to texture every body part by hand. I used the materials editor and combined some materials to get the colors I wanted...for instance, the skin color is a blend of terra cotta and beige. Bongo, I'm having fun playing with this program, but I wish the color selection for the materials was more like the pallette for the lighting colors. Blending materials is a pain when you're just trying to get a nice blue green color, for instance. Cindy, it took 2 1/2 hrs to render this at 800x600. Next time I'll try a larger size and see what happens. I've only been playing with this program (VUE 3) for the last 3 days, so I still have a lot to discover. Kate
