Thanks everybody.... I'll do a little color adjusting :) Question..... I recently read that when a women does her makeup, her brows should be one shade darker than her hair. Don't ask me where I read it, and please be sure I was doing research for this texture pack.... No, Really I was!! Anyway, that's the reason for the darker blondish, redish, auburnish, greenish, whatever color :) Can any of you ladies confirm this is true? Take a look at Anton's blonde hair texture color, and compare it to the MW pony tail's. Big difference..... Now what color brows do you use? Thanks, Spectre
Well, I don't wear alot of makeup, but when I do I never colour my brows. And to be honest none of the women I know do. My natural eyebrows are ... hmmm ... hang on ... goes and looks in mirror ... about one and a half shades lighter than my hair. And it's boring brown btw. Blonde is such a hard colour to do, especially when you aren't working from a specific reference. Perhaps light and medium blonde as options?
Both of my previous (and future) texture/character packs have no brows painted on the face texture, they are added using the Upper Eyebrow mesh, which can easily be swapped out via MAT files - the appropriate upper eyebrow texture area on the face texture is filled in with some brow texture, but the trans maps and material color settings do most of the work. I'm not sure if I understand your proposed method ("...rather than a transparency for a little more realism"), but it sounds like you plan to include a ton of (face) texture maps with the different colors... if that's the case, I'd recommend against doing that ;).
Cinema4D Plugins (Home of Riptide, Riptide Pro, Undertow, Morph Mill, KyamaSlide and I/Ogre plugins) Poser products Freelance Modelling, Poser Rigging, UV-mapping work for hire.
Spanki, Actually, I am planning to include the brow and upper brow portions only of the head texture map. It's similar to providing the eye portion only to change eye colors. In both cases, the file sizes are quite small. I also plan to include a browless head texture for those who wish to use a transparency. Spectre

I posted a message a couple of days ago about a new texture pack I was working on, and wanted inputs on what folks really wanted from a texture pack. One frequently mentioned item was the ability to change eyebrow colors. I have this idea for using MAT files and a template image to change eyebrow colors rather than a transparency for a little more realism. Here's a sample of that idea. Details are kinda lost in the small pic, so if you want, you can follow the link provided for a Very larger version :) Of course, I also plan to include a browless head texture for those wishing to use their own tranparencies. So, please let me know what you think of my idea.
