How can I extract a prop or piece of clothing out of a combined figure?

With a text editor. Poser embedded props are the text of an .OBJ file incorporated in the .CR2 file.

Also, you can use JWIND's COMPOSE to remove props from a CR2 or PZ3.

I'll see what I can get with compose. I'm trying to get some thigh boots and all I can find is a set that comes with an included figure which I don't need. :)

Well that sort of gave me the boots I wanted. Of course I forgot about the feet that go with the legs... :) And via merging the thigh and shin I ended up with a giant sized pair of legs that couldn't bend. :) But I guess I've got something to work with now. Something to figure out.

I tried with the grouping tool and I kept getting multiple figures. One for the shin/foot and one for the thigh.
