Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 21 6:06 am)
I visit Turbosquid occasionally to keep track of what's available, but haven't needed to buy anything yet.
$200 for a single .bvh file? Is this to recoup the money spent on the motion-capture harnesses or something? I notice they're all products of Biovision.
Credo has some .bvh files over at Turbosquid, also. They're much cheaper than Biovision's (although still pricey). I wonder if they were made with Life Forms.
If I ever get a .bvh export plugin for MilkShape, I'll be cranking out mocap files at an unbelievable rate. Especially if they're selling for prices like that. I can already bring Poser poses and animations into MilkShape, I just can't get them out again.
I was frankly flabbergasted by the prices of single BVH Files over there
I looked at some of the animation previews and some of the files like " tennis service" were pretty basic and could easily be keyframed by me Using Lifeforms.
and output for Poser, Max or lightwave
But there seems to be a total lack of skill / interest in character animation in the MAX and LIGHTWAVE forums at renderosity ... only modeling
So i will continue to create BVH for poser
Thanks!! for the responses
