I have downloaded this model, and it looks nice, but ye gods it's a biggy! 6850 Kbytes! It seems to have been converted from DXF without in the process welding the seams between adjacent faces by making relevant corners point to the same entry in the list of vertexes. By welding the edges, and removing the `vn' lines, and de-triangularizing, I got it down to 1273 Kbytes. (DXF format does not have a vertex list, which is why converting via DXF shuffles the vertex list and messes up vertex matching for morph targets.)

Excelent! I knew the file was Xtra large but did not know where to go from there. Honestly I do not understand the first thing about what you have done to improve it. Looks like Greek t'me. Hmmmm maybe we need an advanced tutorial explaining vn and detruangularization and welding? jje
