Vue F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 30 6:52 am)
Oh, I really wouldn't know what dll it is. I could go through the install.log for the demo and do a test. Maybe I will sometime this week if I find the time. The only reason I'm regretting installing the demo is that now I'm trying to figure out how to afford the full Deep Paint 3D. Cuz I rather dig the app. Matthew
Hey, I gotta an idea.. Maybe Eon can just pack the deep paint demo with Vue when they sell it, just to make sure Vue will work correctly with bum file.. The instructions could read "after installing Vue, install the Deep Paint demo so that Vue can work correctly with .bum files"... Hey, just kidding... :)

Alright! All of a sudden, I can import poser scenes with .bum files fine. Shocked the heck out of me. After some thought, it seemed like this occured after I had installed the Deep Paint 3d 1.61 demo from right-hemisphere. Since I had my clean work laptop with me, I did a test, installing Poser and Vue to default directories on the laptop and checked if .bum importing worked. Result: negative. Then I installed the Deep Paint 3d demo on the laptop and tried the exact same poser scene import into Vue. Result: positive. Anyway, I'm a very happy Vuer now, and if this tip helps anyone out I'll be happier still. And if it helps e-on software isolate what is keeping so many of their users from enjoying full Poser importing, then I'm giving myself a cookie. ;)
Hope it works as well for you!
Matthew
