Subject: Help with Allerleirauh's hair

Wraith ( ) posted Fri, 31 December 1999 at 11:19 AM ยท edited Fri, 22 November 2024 at 5:21 PM

I downloaded the hair and everytime I try to load it I get "cannot open runtimegeometriesposer4figures longcurlstrans.obj" error message. I tried to decode the file and reinstall again and still end up with the error.

I do believe you need a Zygote figure called longcurls or longcurly hair go to their site and search for it. I could be wrong but I don't think so. The hair comes with the mermaid or by itself.

I used the objaction mover and I can see the obj file in the correct geom folder but poser4 says it's not there. After that I get a message error Poser is out of memory. I have 128mb of ram. Thanks for the help. :)

actually Allerleirauh I have the objecation mover and to be honest if I had gone back and read the readme file instead of going from memory I would have given the correct advice (teach me for going from memory ) HAHAHAHA

I had some trouble with the hair too- first time it was fine, after that it got sort of weird, it was sort of attaching itself to any figure I had with an open .rsr file, and the figure would open up with the hair maps, or something. What I finally did was save it as a new figure, after that it was fine, Nobody else seems to have run into this problem, though.

also try killing or renaming the .rsr file for the hair's .obj file and let poser rebuild it. Sometimes they get corrupted during the first loading.
