Can anyone tell me how to get poser to consistently make rsr files? When I add poses, faces or hands to a library, the file is added but there is no rsr picture. All I have is a list of names and after a number of files, I don't remember what each name represents.

When I add props to the prop library sometimes an rsr image is produced but most of the time No image.

I can't imagine what the problem is. Which version of Poser are you using? Do you have all the updates installed?

... Poser 0.1 ... but has since been fixed. ;=]

.. only suggestion I have is : Reload Poser .... from scratch. (save all the files you've created first (duh!)) ;=]

Poser version 1?! You're not using Poser 4.03?!

That's Poser 0 (zero) version .1, Ron. ;=] I don't think that version made .rsr files properly. :o) cheers, ;=]

There is no Poser "0" (zero). I bought Version 1 in 1996. We're now up to Poser version 4.03.

Poser 0 came out circa 1934. But it never really caught on 'cuz nobody had a 'puter to run it on at that time. Matter of fact, only .00001% of the world's population even knew 'bout 'puters. ;=] Just in case you were interested. cheers, dr geep ;=]

Hey Geep- You're forgetting about the version (it was -0.543 build zoobunga) that came out in the 1850's. It only ran on Charles Babbage's Difference Engine, and was programmed by Lady Ada Lovelace. A little buggy, but Man, those were the days! Regards- Lemurtek

I was always fond of the Poser Abacus Edition, myself. So much more convenient than the earlier versions, which only worked with Mac-compatible megaliths.

And then there was the pre-release version of Bryce. Back then it was called Beach. It had some nice features, including a cool castle generator. But it was buggy, when you added water to your scene, it crashed. Yep, them were the days! Regards- Lemurtek

... I sure do miss my Atari 400. Anyone ever heard of an 8004 microprocessor? ;=] [opps, I'm probably dating myself .......... talk about conceit!] ;=]
