I've heard there are only two books ever written for poser. The poser handbook3 and the poser handbook4. Ver3 was written before we all knew much about poser so it's not much help. And I haven't seen what ver4 has in it. You can learn more by looking at the posts, tutorials, and asking specific questions here. -ScottA

Well, now that you have it you can play with it all you want. I'm still pretty much of a newbie myself, and I've spent a fair amount of time scratching my head and cussing, but Poser hasn't bitten me or set fire to my computer yet so I keep at it. When I get discouraged, I come here and look at what some of the more seasoned folks have accomplished. I can see now that I would have wasted less time if I'd known sooner that this forum existed and I could ask questions.

I haven't been very impressed with the books for Bryce. I'm not sure that Poser books are any better. You'd be better served, in many cases, by reading the tutorials listed at Renderosity.

Just post your problems here, With the amount of good talent that is available on this forum you will never need a handbook. Chris-S

I found my Poser 3 Handbook. If the Poser 4 is anything like the Poser 3, don't get it. The tutorials posted here and at other sites are much better.
