Im looking for a leading man for my comic a little rough and has to have sex appeal. I was wondeing if this face morph would handel it?

Barbarellany ( ) posted Thu, 31 January 2002 at 10:00 PM

He is rough but not sexy. Work the eyes more I think.

Barbarellany ( ) posted Thu, 31 January 2002 at 10:30 PM

He reminds me of some of my relatives, ones that came from the old country. His expression isn't smoldering but very Russo depressed. I'm not being insulting, but I think he needs some sparkle if he is going to be who you want him to be.

I agree with Barbarellany...he looks rough but not sexy enough yet...maybe narrow his eyes a smidge more? Rough and sexy to me always makes me think of a Gunslinger (Roland...sigh...if only you were real) with his eyes slitted against the sun. and myabe make the brow a little heavier.

Lose the mustache. He looks like a dull dork. Also, it looks like he has a disease on his chest.

looks rough - western gunfighter type.

Yeah I was thinking five o clock shadow myself, he stash may be a bit much, but he's supposed to be Italian. Sparkle how do I do that? that is the Daz body hair map I had t downsize it, It slowed my computer down too much and made rendering time an eternity.

His ears look too small for his head.

His ears are much too small. His nose is perhaps too prominant for the character you seem to have in mind (it may be the focal length, too). He looks middle-European (Serbian? Croatian?) rather than Italian, especially with the bull-neck. I'd rate his intelligence at less than average, and his sense of humor at zilch. Even without the down-turned moustache, his expression is morose. So, he might look dangerous, but he certainly doesn't have sex appeal. My humble recommendations are to: Turn the points of the moustache up (like a gondolier or pizza-maker). Add laugh crinkles to the outside edges of the eyes (people who laugh a lot get crinkles - and there is very little sexier than someone who can laugh). Put a dimple in the chin or show some muscle in the cheeks with maybe a hint of dimple there. Remember that perfect is beautiful, but asymmetry can be attractive: a cocked brow or half smile.... Looking for ruggued with sex appeal... think the Marlboro man... or Robert Redford LOL... crinkles, laugh lines, leathery type skin, squinty eyes and all that has been said already. A man who has spent lots of time out in the sun is going to show it on his face.

I think my MikePlus Tony is sexy, even with no texture map.

BTW, it might be the compression of your image, but it looks like you rendered without the anti-alias box checked.

Hang on... it's the leader of the Polish Solidarnosc part! Nice tashe!

melanie ( ) posted Fri, 01 February 2002 at 8:51 PM

His chin is too weak to be sexy. Needs a stronger jaw line. And I think he could use different hair. This sort of looks like a monk or something. Sorry, I don't mean to criticize, I hate to give negative feedback (because I hate to receive it :) I think a more trimmed mustache, if he must have one. This one sort of makes him look like a mountain man. Also, his expression is sort of threatening. If you want him sexy, he can be rugged and masculine, but still have a less harsh expression. This is an interesting character and I look forward to seeing him develop. Melanie
