Now you can scale your props and people exactly! I did the metric versions for my friends "across the pond." ;=] ********************* IMPORTING PROPS ********************** If you have created a prop TO SCALE in RDS or Carrara ... When you "import" the prop into Poser ... ->"uncheck" the "Percent of standard figure size:" box ... ->Import the prop and change the prop's "Scale" to : ->4.2% (for RDS) ->1.05% (for Carrara) ->then (menu) "Figure" ----> "Drop to Floor" Your prop should be the correct size. (and on the Ground) ************************************************************ To change the prop's "Scale" (to 100%) without changing it's (apparent) physical size ... ->Export the prop - make sure the "As Morph Target" is NOT checked. ->Now "import" the prop again and it will load at the same size but it's "Scale" will be 100%. It's a good idea to do this BEFORE you save your prop to the library because very small Scale (%) values make it very difficult to adjust it's size later on. ************************************************************ If you would like to have a prop "resized" to scale, just let me know. I tried to keep the "geep-sticks" as simple as possible because they were designed to be functional more than anything else. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q. - 2 meters are much better than one A. Load the "scale" twice and "parent" the first one to the second. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q. - different colors every 10cm would make a better read A. You can do this - just use the "group" tool and make 'em any color(s) ya want. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q. - adding scales in x- and z-axis would make it even more useful A. You can put 'em there: The origen is at the 0,0 so: -> use xRotate (set to -90) to lay it on the z-axis -> use yRotate (+or- 90) and zRotate (+or- 90) to lay it on the x axis -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q. - if one could move these two new scales up and down the y-axis, then there could be quicker measurements. The "geep-sticks" come with the ambient color used so that they are highly visible in all modes. (except silhouette if there is something behind it)

Note: Turn the ambient color off if you want to use different colors because the ambient color will override or wash out the other colors.

All of the tick marks, and each group of 10 (or 12) are individual objects so you can "group 'em" and color 'em anyway you want.
