Well, I've done some work with the demo, and I'm impressed enough to have ordered the full version of Vue 4. I had to mail a check, so it'll probably be a week or so... (I'm counting hours) Love that multi-threading, as I use a BP6-based dual-Celeron system. In the meantime, this is one of my favorites I've done with the demo. I haven't done anything elaborate, since the demo can't save. This is probably 15-20 minutes of work, with no postwork. If you like this, let me know, and check my gallery over the next few weeks for my initial forays into the worlds of Vue.

Very impressive! It reminds me very much of a beach I often frequented in my youth :) I'll be looking forward to seeing what you create in the near future!! Bravo!! :) Irene

Hello Tiggerbear, and welcome. :) That's pretty good, and you seem to have gotten things under control in the atmosphere editor very quickly. I love the colors. Will be looking out for your work here. Meanwhile, if you haven't already, you might want to look over the links in the box above the forum here, especially the Vue Annex pages. It's a whole other world in there, with links to all our activities, and all kinds of tips and answers to questions we've all had. If the demo has impressed you, you're gonna love the "Real Deal", since it has alot more to it, plus the recent patches will bring you up to date some. Again, welcome. :) -Mike

That's a very dramatic scene. I really like that coastline. Best wishes that your new Vue arrives very soon! :)

A very artistic piece! :)

Nice work ! should try to soften the sand in order to make look it less "geometric", of course when your Vue 4 will arrive ! Yves

Thanks everyone for the kind words. =) I will be sure to post here when my Vue arrives, and you'll be among the first to see the inital work I do with it. In the meantime, enjoy this, another quickie image done with the demo. Again, nothing elaborate, just playing with various things and came across something worth saving. Cheers!

That's very cool, and I had no idea the demo could produce such results. Good work!

And we're still waiting... But fun with the demo continues! I like this one enough I'll probably rework the concept in a larger format once I get the full version. I was playing with depth-of-field (note the blurred foreground branches) and volumetrics, and this was the result.

Oh, very nice, like early evening in a misty orchard. I'd love to go there! :)

Okay, after two weeks, my Vue is due to arrive tomorrow, according to UPS tracking!!! Look for my first images from the full version soon.
