I was watching ( yet again!!) my star wars EP1 extra content DVD After seeing how they did the digital waterfall on the planet Naboo I decided to take my own stab at a digital waterrfall using cinema4DXL 7 and Adobe ater effects 5.5(PB ) the results look promising so far and with some effort i may be ready to take on the boys at ILM.......(NOT!!)

Very Cool! Shows what poor people with a little time and a lot of imagination (or is it the other way around?) can do when we want to! Keep it up!

As a matter of fact, they used inferno, and the waterfalls is just salt falling down in front of a black background. Anyway, you could use smaller particles and a more dense "mass" of particles, so you can't see through them. Good start though

Hi wolf359 Your waterfall looks like moving clouds. But still your mpeg is quite impressive.
