to chohole: the face is my dummy in max - removed all faceparts so I dont move them by mistake - it is just a quick render in max - had to say this. And thanks for the comments. No suggestions about the hair ?

I wouldn't dare to make comments about anyone elses meshes. the best I can model is a square box, and even then they go lopsided. No I would use it as it is, just postwork it to make the strands on the fringe (bangs) more separate. Maybe you could even do that with trans maps. I think it looks very natural. and very modern in style, I think.

Fantastic, and I think it would look equally great on the female meshes too!

It looks really good. My only comment would be to do something with a transmap for the back of it so it doesnt hang in such a rigid line.

Thank you all, but my opinion was that it looks to feminin, but to try it on vicky or on the boys is a good idea. And yes I do have to make a transmap - I used only a "usabel for all hair-trans".

melanie ( ) posted Sun, 03 February 2002 at 10:52 AM

I love it!!!! It would look great with transmapping. I love the style. I love the carefree bangs haning over his forehead. Wonderful! I'm looking forward to this. Any new hair for Michael is more than welcome. Thank you! Melanie

The bangs are too blocky at the ends. The bottom of the hair is also too perfectly even. You might want to make the sides of the hair a bit thinner so it looks more masculine - men's hair tends to be closer to the sides than women's hair. This is well done hair. It just needs a bit of tweaking to be more realistic.

melanie ( ) posted Sun, 03 February 2002 at 11:39 AM

Not too feminine at all. I think it gives him sort of a carefree, beach boy type of appearance. The bottom could be more tapered, maybe not so squared off, but transmapping would help a lot. Looking forward to this one! Melanie

Ok - back to work on the hair agian - lets see what I can do from/with it.

This is without transmapping? Wow :) With a good transmap this'll look awesome. If the bottom edge is angled it'll look less feminine. Great job! Lyrra
