i have transfered a model from poser 4 into bryce 5, given it a mummie texture then saved it as a obj file then opened it in poser 4. when i open and render the model again in poser, it's metalic and not the texture of a mummie that i put on it. Can this be done or am i doing something wrong PPPPPLLLLLEEEEEAAAAASSSSSSSEEEEE HHHHHHHHHHHllllllllllllpppppppppppppp.

Why are you moving from poser into Bryce to texture then back to poser. Wouldn't it be easier to just texture it in poser?

It, probably would be, IF I HAD AN IDEA OF HOW TO DO IT! I'm VERY new to all this and havnt got a clue WHAT im doing..... I didnt know you could do that.

To texture a poser model i find the easiest way is to choose a model eg "P4 nude male" then go into your poser directory ie c/programfiles/metacreations/poser4/runtime/textures then open up P4 nude male tiff. in photoshop , now edit inside the already textured parts and save (tiff), simple really , and after you have done this , you can export it as wavefront.obj into bryce , then when it asks where text. file is just point it to where its saved in textures ;o)
Good luck and happy texturing
