There are keyboard shortcuts for almost everything. For example if you click on the Select Camera drop down menu you will see them listed out. Other menus similar.

Oh! And if you Press "Alt" key while clicking on some "interfaces", like "tools" & "document styles". They will switch between Horizontal & vertical positions... And i think that if you do a pose in frame 1, then switch to frame 10(arbitrary), make a second pose. Then just use Page Down & Page Up to see the transition between the 2... Tada! Anik

sirkrite ( ) posted Tue, 05 February 2002 at 8:21 PM

JeffH, Try looking where I did. In the box you stuck in the closet a long time ago. ;) Man, the text on that quicksart card is small!

geep ( ) posted Tue, 05 February 2002 at 9:52 PM

... that "Alt" thingy for the "toolbars."

I like it, but ...

Now I'm gonna hafta rearrange my whole screen [which I have used very happily for decades] to accomodate their different shape on the screen.

Doggone it, doggone it, doggone it ...

Blame it on my Brother Viomar, Geep! :-) He's the one who showed me all his tricks... So, curse at him if you must! And don't bother making faces, causes he won't be able to see them! I guess you don't want to know the trick that brings "collision detection" to poser??? Runs off to hide behind Viomar... smirk! Anik

mon1alpha ( ) posted Wed, 06 February 2002 at 5:41 AM

Ta very much for the hotkey guide :) (Liverpool-speak...english translation--thank you very much) Mon

Impudicus Rex ( ) posted Wed, 06 February 2002 at 5:54 AM

Collision detection in Poser? Surely you jest, Optical! Just on the off chance that you're not a complete and utter nutter :)~ ... I implore you, what's the trick?

The Cur! I should have known. The hopeful are so easily abused. :)~

OpticalSingenoid ( ) posted Wed, 06 February 2002 at 7:18 PM

Yeap! I was a "jester" in another life... But, My bro did make a plug-in that's partialy working for Max, that does just that! So, far it crashes on meshes that have to many vertices... But, who knows??? Maybe the folks at Curious Labs have already sloved that for poser5!(Crossing fingers!) Basically, how Marco went about it is simply create what's called a "matrix" in programming, that keeps track of vertices or faces for "predefined" groups. There's already a good explanation of the priciples & algorythms invlolved available in 3D Math books... The problem with doing it with the vertices, is that it gets too complicated for even High-End PCs(p4 1.6ghz) too handle! So, the only "Viable" aternative is with faces or groups of them... Anyhow, Back to "posing"... Tada! Anik
