Subject: Low Poly Walkers

I'm creating an image in Bryce, it's a park setting and I need a few low poly human beings walking in the park. I don't have Poser so I was wondering if someone could throw a few low poly dressed humans in a download section somewhere - nothing special - the humans in the pic are way off in the distance. Anybody?

Off the top of my head I think 3DCafe has some low poly non posable humans.

Go to 3d cafe, like quikp51 says, and if you want to increase the poly count, you can do it with Metasequoia. The freeware exports in formats that Bryce can use so get the LE freeware edition. http://www1.sphere.ne.jp/mizno/main_e.html There are other sites to use for low poly people. Do a search on www.altavista.com for 3d people, etc and see what comes up. I have a number of sites that I hope to organize on a links page some day. By the way, I don't have poser either and get along just fine without it.

If all fails goto GameSpy and peruse any of their Planet sites and dl some low poly game people. That's an alternative too. I just ripped all of LucasArts meshes from their games and will be re-texturing them for background animations and stuff, 100's of them. You'll need WorldCraft and maybe another program to extract and convert these meshes though but they're all dl'able from the Planet Ring.
