Well, I was dissatisfied with how my Dracos Titanicus was shaping up, so I decided to completely restart it. This is the torso and rear legs... the tail is about as long as the body length. Wings, forelegs, and a head shall follow...

looks great but i can't thing when it;s finished the dragon will be kinda top heavy judging by the belly : ) the work on the muscle tones of the legs is fantastic

Just like the title says. The head is about 75% done (still gotta do tongue, teeth, and eyes), then I do the wings, and blammo, the modelling for the basic Dracos Titanicus is done... the head is relatively simple, as all the various horns, etc, will be props...

Okay... all the modelling for the base critter is done. Now to model the conforming fin, conforming plates, and conforming spikyness... plus all the various tailprops and horn props... Here is a nice side view of the Dracos Titanicus!!!

It is coming along very nicely indeed, Im going to have to break out the Dragon Heart DVD to see how close he is, Nice job on a great dragon.

Valandar ( ) posted Wed, 06 February 2002 at 7:58 PM

Well, it's not Draco from Dragonheart. I just gave it a Latin Taxonomic name - Dracos Titanicus.
