I am in some need of advice from the learnerd artisans of Renderosity. I am stumped on something very stupid.... Let me just set the scene: I am trying to blend a Brass material with a Rust material. The Brass at the top will be blended into the Rust at the bottom. I have no problem setting up the blending but how do I apply the Rust Material onto Material section B?. I can not seem to get a material preset out of the Material Gallery and applied to Section B. Thanks Anthony

Try holding shift and clicking the diffusion/ambience mix to pull from column a AND b. Mess around a bit. You could also fake it by moving a duplicate version of the object clothed in material "a" closer to the camera and applying a semitransparent version of material b Or two renders and photoshop em together Mitch

well short of two renders and probably saving a little time would be to blend the texture its self in photoshop and then load it via the texture editor. Same thing, less time.
