These past couple of days and just out of the blue Poser decided not to recognize the P3 female .obj . Whenever I try to bring in a P3 character I get the message that Poser cannot open Geometries/NewFemaleNudeHi/FemaleNudeHiP3.obj. After a couple of these it then proceeds to open it up. Has anybody else had this? Is it serious? Should I start thinking backup and reinstallment?

YOU should have already BACKED-UP! MADNESS! DO SO NOW (I'll wait....) BACK? OK it's possible it may have corrupted. I could be wrong but don't chance it...back that puppy up and reinstall. Better safe than sorry! PAN~

OK, Pan, remind me not to put you in charge for earthquake evacuation. Sheesh, talk about making someone panic! At least can I look through the Forum first and check what's new at Federation 21? Oh, and a question to really get you to panic. When I reinstall will Poser remember all the intricate little paths it has to follow to get to the well-hidden texture, transparency, etc maps that are scattered throughout my hd?

Well so long as you have them stored in folders elsewhere it's only a matter of browsing I suppose (if I understood ya right...) I'm outta here (work) and I'll be back later (when at home!) hehehe...didn't mean to panic ya! haha... PAN~ WHERE'S MY EMERGENCY BUDDY!? I've gotta have a buddy!

You might try deleting the large RSR that resides with the OBJ file and let Poser build a new one. The RSR might have gotten corrupted.

Thanks Jeff, that was it and now it's back to normal. That saved me a lot of time.
