My question is this: How do you make the cylinder (when imported into Poser) into a beliveable rope. End question. Thanks for your time :) PawDk www.PawDk.dk

Heh - you don't :) There is hope, though... get hold of the Easy Pose tentacle set, or the freebie battery/cable set at 3D Commune... either one can be made into a poseable rope. /P

Your best bet is to use the EZ pose tube that is free at Ajax's site. I dont know obviously about usage. check his readme file or contact him. Scarab

Umm, I thought he was using it for something he was doing on his own, without giving or selling the results... It goes without saying that you can't just import someone else's stuff and then distribute the item, at least not without getting permission first. /P

heyas; you can get ajax's easy pose tube and study how it's made, then make your own rope. or, you can just release the grappling hook prop, and let everybody stick their own rope on. OR, we're just assuming here you want to share, you might not. you can stick your grapple on the ez pose tube/rope and use it for your own projects however you want, no sweat. :) now.... who knows ajax's url?? :/

I think Ajax's site is a little in limbo at the moment, all the linking seems to be awry, but he's got a section at my website that you can get the easypose tube: www.beyondbent.com Look at the sidebar on my site and click on Ajax's Easypose button. Davo

The EasyPose Tube is also in Free Stuff, and Ajax has a trio of tutorials on EasyPose "technology" posted here at Renderosity.
