I have been working on a new package - "Fashionables" currently it contains 2 models; Sydney & Illiana, they have been scaled to have longer legs. They include 8 Bikini textures, 8 makeup textures (& 1 skin tone pose for Illiana), 1 body texture, 8 body poses - all textures include MAT poses and custom rsr's.

Here's my dilemma, the file is huge! So would people prefer to have just the clothing textures - just the characters with their textures and poses.

All in one package or the option to buy just the clothing textures or the options for both - you choose if you want the entire thing or if you want it seperate... See I'm thinking of making more textures for other parts of Vicky's wardrobe, but the texture files are just so large...

I'm leaning towards just offering the clothing package...

Offer both, but offer one as a freebie if you buy the other... like say if a person buys the character package, they get the clothing texture package for free... but have them be seperate products... that way if someone only wants the clothing textures (and that bikini texture above, looks cool) then they can get just the texture, but if someone wants the characters, then you can offer them a nice little bonus with the clothing textures... or the other way around. :)

Why not offer them both ways, together as one package or separate packages, but I'd pull a couple of the bikini textures and offer them as a bonus with the character package instead of the whole bikini package, and if you wanted to offer a bonus with the bikini package just offer maybe a base portion of the character - like maybe 1 model with a couple of the mat files. I hope that makes sense, I think it's kinda sorta what Cin- said, but alittle different. Whew!

With Pamela, I just had her and her textures (and poses and lights, etc) But, there are modified cr2's and clothing textures available from a website free for all purchasers. If I'd included all of the stuff the zip file would be over 40 Mb! I find it works out better for everyone doing it this way :) Cheers, X

I think I'm leaning towards the clothing textures, alone with the skin textures as a bonus download.. I'm not terribly fond of Sydney anymore - although I like Illiana...

You could do MOR files for to knock the file size down. Not sure how big your cr2s are, but you can always allow the user to request them if they lack vicky2. The MOR file is only as large as the morph differences, so it is significantly smaller. (far less than 1Meg most likely)

I'm not using Vicky 2 on these - just Vicky. I think I'm going to dump out Sydney at least. The first half of te the file - characters poses and all the MATs aren't that big. But the second half - just the clothing is huge...

Oo, looks very nice! I like especially the white one. As for the files... how about making two versions, one with everything and one with just clothing textures or something? Or the way that was already suggested, the other thing as a bonus download? :)

Illiana is absolutely lovely.

Ok, I have my decision .... (drum roll please - geesh where is nikitacreed when I need her on drums??) I am going to release the textures - Fashionables, Illiana and the textures will be a bonus for purchasers. But I am not going to include all the skin textures with her - The skins were designed to work on both - but some look better on Illiana. The skins won't be colourized so you will be able to use them on any model. Now I'm off - almost finished "Fashionables II" Boot texture package...
