Hi All,

Thanks to everyone for their inputs on my last post for this WIP. I have re-worked some of the areas as per your suggestions, and would like another opinion. The lips are different, and I'm considering including these eyes in the final texture package. There will also be the usual glint/ no glint pupil option, different eye colors, and different lip colors. What do you think? All comments welcomed :)

Thanks,
Spectre

I would de-saturate the eyebrows a little bit, they are a bit too red, as if she's been bleeding a bit. Otherwise looks great -WTB P.S. She has the "I wear Glasses" lines around the bridge of her nose that are rather sharp if not intentional.

Both good points ! Thanks WTB

Lips are great. but I liked the other ones too, so my opinion doesn't mean much LOL I agree with WTB about the glasses line. Seen that mark in the mirror many times myself ;) I wouldn't change her eyebrows, but change her eyelash shade to match more. And as a personal opinion, I don't like the glint in her pupil. It's a little too harsh. Perhaps soften it just a tad? The skin is gorgeous. Great work as usual s

Got rid of the "I wear glasses" marks, and changed eyelash color. Better?

Xena ( ) posted Fri, 15 February 2002 at 12:54 AM

YES!!! The eyebrows don't look so out of place now. It does look better without the glasses mark.

I still think the brows are too red. Brows should be a shade darker than the hair, and in this case they are lighter. I seem to be in the minority though, so whadda I know? ;) -WTB

But the hair isn't part of the package (I don't think it is - it sure looks like Koz's hair) If the hair IS part of the package, I'll TOTALLY agree with you :)

Thanks Xena... I think I'll just include pupils without glints this time. Most folks seem to like them better that way anyhow. WTB, thanks for the input. I tried to re-do the brows, but they just don't look realistic when done. These are real eyebrows BTW. So is the skin tex. I just threw on the hair so poor ole Krista wouldn't have to be bald :) I'll keep working at it....

I think the texture looks fantastic. The ears could use just a bit of shading, but other than that, no complaints. =)

Always looking for eyebrow-less textures--but you know me, i'm the DIY eyebrow girl. Would you consider an eyebrow-less version? Or one that has these cool eyebrows on the UpperEyebrows transmap only? This is a lovely work, no matter what. Great eyes! Great lips!

visualkinetics ( ) posted Fri, 15 February 2002 at 3:55 PM

My 2 cents, I have to agree that the eyebrows look a little off. That's because it's all one color. There are no variation in the shade of the hair. Maybe if you added a bit of lighter color to offset the darker colors. It is a bit of the red side. My other comment is about the lips. The lower lip looks great, but there is not enough contrast between the upper lip and the skin making her look as if she is very ill or that she has no lip line on top. I would also suggest a bit more work on the lashes transmap. The lower lashes are much too straight and even. The skin looks great though. Thank you for making such fantastic textures and offer them at such fantastic prices. I own the Maria texture personally and haven't had a chance to send you praise. Keep up the good work. Sincerely, visualkinetics

Looks great. Two questions: What resoulution are you working at and where can I get that hair?

Thanks again everyone. After the comments you have given me, I've gone back to the drawing board and made quite a few changes. First, I've included a browless texture for those folks that like to add their own brows. Next, the brows you see above are history. I've change the color to brown and am also including a black and blonde version. With these brows, you'll have a choice of brown, blonde, or black eyelashes. I've included the eyes you see here plus blue and green pairs all with no pupil glint only. Finally, I've included, these lips ( I'll fix the lip line etc.) plus a red, pink, and brown set. Starting work on the body tex, then on to the MAT poses so you'll be able to pick and choose which eyes, lips, brows you want:) Hiram, 800 X 600 screen resolution with the Poser face camera set at a focal of 125mm. The image above is 640 x 640. The hair is Koz's Ponytail. You can download it for free at Digital Babes. The link is here on the sidebar under Web Ring Top 15 Thanks Again, Spectre
