Gurus, I have some troubles with my model's(all of them) curves in Meta's Poser 4. They seem to have this jagged curves. I put antialias click on but still it doesnt work. How can I get my models have the flowing sensous curves like you do? Thank you.

It is not an evil word. POSTWORK..POSTWORK...POSTWORK!!! Look gang, it's like this. Poser 4 is not, never will be like (incert favorite "Real" 3d program). True, the more polygons a model has the smoother the curves. However, there will be some straight lines. The sooner one learns this fact, the sooner you can get more out of your talent. IMHO all the "Poser Purists" that do no postwork need to figure out that the pose may be good and the lighting nice. But that make up for the fact that curves get angled, and body parts intersect in the wrong places. And post work is the ONLY way you are going to get a more even look about the work. Call me evil, but I belive if i am going to place an image anywhere, it has to be to a beliveable look. True, it's not as realistic as a photo, but it is going to give enogh of the illusion for veiwers to suspend belief for a few moments. Sure it would be sweet if poser or any 3D app could do as good a job as the great maker, but folks, it is just not going to happen wilst we live. So find a good, inexpensive paint application and do the post work. as one improves, the post work will be less visable, almost to a point where you are hard pressed to see what is and what is not the render. POSTWORK, it's not satan spawn, it's part of your tool kit for 3d art. (end of sermon) Sorry if I offended, or ranted a bit too much, but I just want you all to see a bit more of what can be done, IF you try.

Thanks guys for the inputs. Don't worry I got a decent app for postworking. It just I thought it was something that I miised to click on on Poser. Now I know its not my fault. So postwork then. NOPROB.

I think what those jagged lines are telling you, is that you have pushed the model beyond it's limits (not necessarily your fault) I had to bend P4 fems knee quite a bit to see what you are talking about, and I do see it. While probably not the answer you were hoping, I did a quick render in Poser where the knee was all broken, and imported the same figure in Vue4 and the angles were not nearly as bad (though still blocky). Perhaps Poser 5s renderer will be handle this better. eric
