I've seen it discussed here before and I appologize in advance for not paying better attention, but once you've got a figure clothed, how do you make it so the clothing stays on the figure while trying to animate it. I checked the FAQ and ran a search, but I couldn't find the subject. I'm using v4.03 and Posette with the woman's vest and slacks. Thanks in advance.

You just have to conform the clothes to Posette. Select a piece of clothes and then menuline-figure-conform to-figure 1.

That was my first thought too and I did it, tweeked the clothing a little bit and made some body parts 'invisible' so that everything looks fine, but the minute I try to move her, the clothes come off and it gets all skewed up.

When you start to pose her, make sure Figure 1 is selected and that you are not trying to pose the conforming clothing.

OH, and this may sound silly, but you need to select the BODY of the figure when you pose. Poser is silly. Sometimes when I go to pose, the leg or some other body part is selected. You get some really strange results. Ron

Thank you everyone for your replies:) The problem has been resolved. A simple reboot of my PC seems to have done the trick. I can pose my figure, animate her and everything stays in place. Guess I should have tried rebooting before posting...Gotta love that kooky Poser, boy do I feel silly :)

Let me give you one good "remedy" for anything that goes wrong. 1.) Save your files if necessary, or possible. 2.) Close down all programs gracefully, if possible. 3.) Reboot the computer, then try your program again. Chances are everything will work just fine. If not, then you can panic! Grin Ron
