Subject: Emergency Help Please!!!

I'm in the middle of my university project, and I'm having problems with the poser rendering.
The movements in the rendered animations are jerky, as if there are keyframes missing.
What can be the reason for this? Could it be because I'm rendering to a big ratio (720x405 ratio)?

It's possible that your CPU can't display that resolution fast enough not to be "jerky". How is it at smaller resolutions like mpeg 1?

Sounds like it could be a playback problem. (i.e. the large video is stuttering on playback). Are you rendering uncompressed, or with a codec? Do large video files normally play back okay on your system? Try rendering a smaller ratio version and see what happens, that way you'll know if it's a keyframe problem or a playback one. Hope this helps! Dave :-)

I have also run into bad jerkiness on my machine if I tried to set the animation compression any higher than 75% Scarab

How much free hard drive space do you have? How much memory? Is it a PC or Mac? Have you defragged the hard drive lately? Some basic background information helps us help you. Ron
