She's a bit petulant at being fiddled with so much and worried that she is just another fairy in the crowd. (Hair by Bat) I haven't decided on wings as yet. Comments? Suggestions? She will be free if I am ever satisfied with her.

that is it exactly Lovely Lady! LOL VS you need that break dear.. just get outta here and don't come back till you can look yet another fairy in the eye. Really, I think there is room for everyone to enjoy whatever they enjoy here, don't you think?

Hey, I dont mean this in a bad way, only want to let you know: If I come home from work, fighted the whole day with customers and co-workers, then I realy want to see fairys and characters like this, I want to play arround with them and want to relax, want silence to come down and dreaming my own little private world. And there is NO space for fighting and hurting. And YES, she is cute and a darling, look at her, there is so much love inside this work I realy can feel it - this is just my taste so I cant get enough of this type of characters like many many other users too and I also like the exotic names (why I never find names like this?). Why telling this Lady there are too much characters like this - I realy want her... like many other people too. Good night!

Hi Lovely Lady. I love her. I have every one of Thornes faeries, and as many other faery figures as I can find. I love them all. Each is unique in its own way. Yours is NOT a cookie cutter type faery! She is very different from all the others. Not only does she have a completely different face structure, she has a totally unique personality! I hope that someday she will become part of my collection. She shows great work! I like her just as she is. If I were to change anything, I would make the iris bigger so less white shows in the eyes. That may just be a personal preference. She looks great! Keep us posted.

I do understand VS comment as it is one of the reasons I posted this. There are tons of fairies to be had and I just wanted to know if she, who I have affectionantly been calling "Petulata" was really any different to warrant going further except for my own amusement.

BTW does anyone know how to get the eyeballs to scale. None of the dials actually do anything to increase the size of the eyeballs.

She is adorable, so charming....love it. Sharen

Can you raise the height between brow and eye? Since she is an immature fairy, using baby proportions will fit her face better. perhaps the brow could be finer and set more outward, too?

I didn't mean to cause offence to anyone, particularly if it felt like it was slamming someone's work. God knows I'm in no position to do that, right? I guess we just chalk it up to a lousy day, filled with lousy people who don't really seem to know what they want or how to tell me - I'm deleting the message above, which will probably train-wreck the thread.

Now that is one cute little fairy! You did a nice job on her:) I love the big eyes, and her cute little button nose!

Really nice, my only comment is that the lower lip seems a bit too full. I'd slim it down some. I think it would match the upper lip a bit better. Incidentally, I think that she is more of a winged fairy . . .

Thanks everyone for the feedback. She will have wings and some clothes, but why is it when you just about think you have it on a revision which you did save at one point, the dang power decided to do a quick brownout and the dang computer reboots.....aggggggh! At least I don't have to start completely over. Well as Scarlet said....Tomorrow is another day! (said in my best southern drawl)

Petunia ( ) posted Tue, 19 February 2002 at 11:23 PM

well ouch ... I know how the power glitches go.. we get a bunch up here in Anchorage. Hoping your little gal was not majorly affected...
